Veteran Home & Housing Initiative
For veterans facing eviction, unsafe housing conditions, or fraud tied to a VA home loan.
The Veteran Home & Housing Initiative addresses the full range of housing failures affecting veterans — from eviction and unsafe living conditions to fraudulent home sales and breakdowns in VA housing benefits. This initiative was activated by CFW’s first active housing case and remains intentionally focused on the veteran and military community, the population that started this movement.
If you’re a veteran facing an eviction notice, living in housing that isn’t being maintained, or were sold a home with VA financing that turned out to have hidden problems — this is the initiative built to respond.
“A roof isn’t a benefit. It’s a baseline. This initiative exists because too many veterans were told to wait for one anyway.”
